TD SYNNEX is extending its ecosystems initiative to cyber security to encourage alliance building between partners with complementary digital security skills.
Currently being used successfully for manufacturing, healthcare and retail and distribution, the ecosystems programme is designed to help partners with skills and specialisations in different areas to share experiences, ideas and best practices and potentially forge mutually beneficial commercial partnerships.
Participants will be able to draw on services and support provided by the TD SYNNEX security practice, including Security Practice Builder, which helps resellers establish their own cybersecurity services business, and the RECON Security Suite of managed and subscription-based services covering identity and access management, security consulting, SOCaaS and backup and recovery.
Alison Nixon, Security Business Unit Director at TD SYNNEX, UK, said: “There is a multiplicity of reseller businesses, solutions integrators, service providers and specialists in all the different areas of digital security, but few, if any, have the knowledge and skills they need to offer a complete cybersecurity offering to their end user customers. In addition to that, cybersecurity skills can only be acquired at a huge premium right now. These are significant challenges for partners and one very good way of addressing them is through partnering.
“The Cybersecurity Ecosystems community will provide a valuable forum through which partners can explore new possibilities and the different pathways and options that we provide for them to develop their security and data protection business.”
