Paul Eccleston appointed UK MD at Exclusive Networks

Paul Eccleston has recently been announced as the new Managing Director UK & Ireland for Exclusive Networks, following the retirement of Graham Jones in May. Eccleston, who founded distributor
Nuvias in 2015, has a proven track record in building and scaling successful channel organisations, having also held leadership roles at Computacenter, SCC and TechData. He joins from cloud security company Zscaler, where he served as VP International Channels & Alliances. Eccleston said: “Cybersecurity is one of the defining technologies of our generation and Exclusive Networks has become
synonymous with cybersecurity services in the channel in recent years. I’m really looking forward to working with the team to
maximise growth opportunities, evolve our ecosystem, deliver service excellence and create value for our vendors and partners.”


Iulia Knight ,

Knight to drive Daisy cyber security proposition
Daisy Corporate Services, a provider of IT and comms to the public sector and mid- market organisations, has appointed Iulia Knight as Managing Director, Operational Resiliency & Cyber Security. In this new role, Knight will be responsible for developing Daisy’s combined proposition and go-to- market strategy, as it seeks to become the leading operational resiliency and cyber security provider to the UK mid-market. Knight has more than 10 years’ experience in the Enterprise Operational Resilience and Critical Event Management software space, most recently at Cutover and before that at OneSolve. Commenting on her new role, Knight said: “Daisy has a fantastic heritage when it comes to business continuity services and has a rapidly growing cyber security footprint. Today, business risks come in all shapes and sizes, so it is becoming increasingly important for organisations to work with partners who have a deep understanding of both operational resilience and cyber security. Daisy ticks both these boxes.”

Lightware strengthens UK team

Following growth of more than 300% in the last 18 months, Lightware Visual Engineering, a manufacturer of matrix switchers, signal extenders and accessories for the professional AV market, has strengthened its UK team with the appointments of Charlie Sullivan as Head of Business Development and Chris Brzostowski as Channel Account Manager. Sullivan, who in 2020 was recognised as one of InAVate’s 40 under 40 AV industry professionals, has 12 years’ experience in the professional AV and stadia/arena sectors, specialising in large-scale AV projects at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Ferrari World and The Samsung Experience Centre, Kings Cross. In his new role, he will focus on cultivating relationships with Lightware consultants and end-users across the UK. Lightware’s other new recruit, Brzostowski will take a lead role in developing relationships with Lightware’s system integrators. He brings 10 years’ experience in the AV industry at companies such as True Colours (Midwich), Atlona, Videlio, NEC and, most recently, Hypervsn.


Jonathan Sutherland

Sutherland to bring unity to Exertis sales teams
Exertis has promoted Jonathan Sutherland, previously Sales and Commercial Director for Microsoft and Gaming, to Sales Director – Retail, with responsibility for all consumer sales. A key priority for Sutherland, who has been based in Exertis’ Harlow office for the last 18 months, is to create cohesion and unity between the Basingstoke and Harlow sales teams. He said: “I am excited to get started in my new role and am looking forward to working with the excellent teams in Basingstoke and Harlow. As we move forward with one retail team, it will allow us to use the wide skill set that we have across all product areas to deliver an even better service to our customers and vendors.”


Imran Akhoun

Ciphr takes on M&A expert

Marlow-based SaaS HR provider Ciphr is preparing for further growth with the appointment of Imran Akhoun as Director of M&A. Reporting directly to Ciphr Chief Financial Officer Ray Berry, Akhoun will be responsible for identifying merger and acquisition targets, managing due diligence processes and coordinating transactions undertaken by the ECI-backed group. Commenting on his appointment, Akhoun said: “Ciphr has already made a number of acquisitions in recent years to expand its offering beyond HR, including Payroll Business Solutions in 2019 and Digits in 2020. I’m looking forward to working with the team to help continue Ciphr’s ongoing growth strategy and support further M&A activities in the coming years.”


Geoff Kneen

Kneen takes the reins at Content+Cloud

After five years as Group Managing Director, Geoff Kneen has been promoted to CEO at Content+Cloud, the cloud and digital transformation services provider acquired by Advania Group in December 2021. Content+Cloud has over 1,000 employees and
offices located in London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Reading, Cardiff and Sheffield, as well as Cape Town, South Africa. Kneen’s promotion follows his predecessor Peter Sweetbaum’s move to the Advania Group as Head of New Markets with responsibility for the group’s growth strategy in Europe and other markets. Kneen said: “As a leading provider and centre of excellence delivering Microsoft- focused cloud and digital transformation services, our team has been able to help our customers deliver business outcomes and optimise value from their investment in technology and the Microsoft ecosystem. The opportunity for growth and development within the UK market for our services is clear and we are excited by
our planned organic and M&A-related growth plans.”


New EMEA channel chief for Menlo

Menlo Security has appointed Rob Cole- Lomas as Senior Director of Channels, EMEA. Cole-Lomas, who previously worked at Cybereason, Swimlane, CrowdStrike and FireEye, plans to spend the first 100 days in his new role reigniting existing partnerships and pursuing new alliances. Mike East, VP of Sales, EMEA at Menlo Security, said: “By developing and enhancing our relationships with customers and partners, we have a great opportunity to help even more organisations securely access critical applications globally and thereby drive productivity. Rob will be pivotal in helping us to deliver true value to our prospects.”


New CRO at Agilitas

Channel services provider Agilitas IT Solutions has appointed John Hayes-Warren as Chief Revenue Officer to strengthen business resilience in the technology services sector. Hayes-Warren has more than 30 years’ experience in the technology channel at companies such as Logicalis, Claranet, Vodafone Global and VMware. Agilitas CEO Shaun Lynn said: “We are all delighted to be working with John as we officially welcome him as our new Chief Revenue Officer. With an illustrious career in the technology channel, John brings experience, integrity and confidence that will help Agilitas build upon its solid foundations in delivering customer success strategies.”
