Sam Diamond Completes fundraising bike ride for Demelza Hospice Care

Telecoms World Director Sam Diamond cycled 100 miles in the 2022 RideLondon-Essex event raising over £700 for Demelza Hospice Care. The ride started at London Victoria Embankment, heading out to Felsted in Essex and back to London Tower Bridge. After months of training, Sam conquered the route in 6 hours 19 mins and he is so proud to have cycled on behalf of Demelza.

“I loved every minute of the ride, it was tough, but so rewarding knowing that the miles I was covering were helping such a special charity”.

Sam participated in the 2022 RideLondon-Essex event with 20,000+ amateur cyclists on Sunday 29th May. All roads on the route were closed and local communities were out to cheer cyclists along.

Demelza provides clinical care, therapies, specialised activities and practical support across Kent, South East London and East Sussex. They have two hospices and provide a range of community-based support in the home, as well as a programme of online activities. The link to Sam’s Just Giving page is https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/telecoms-world-demelza
