Hi Ho Solutions and away!……..NB Data launch new range of PPE tech products

A Manchester supplier of business communications products expects to double its turnover this year after it launched a new range dedicated to people working from home.

NB Data supplies firms with communications products like headsets and conferencing systems, and secured Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) funding from NatWest at the outset of the pandemic.

As many in the UK switched to working from home during the lockdown, the Whitefield-based firm saw a chance to launch a new brand called Hi Ho Solutions – selling webcams, headsets and other home office equipment.

Neil Hinde, managing director of NB Data, said: “The last decade has been really challenging, but we are dedicated to our goal of becoming a leading nationwide supplier. When lockdown was first announced, we recognised that this could be an opportunity to grow the business and expand our product portfolio.

“When we secured the funding from NatWest, it gave us the financial flexibility that we needed to develop and launch the Hi Ho Solutions range of products – and several months later we’re in a really strong position. Our NatWest Relationship Manager, Lee Thompson, believed in us from the beginning and we couldn’t thank him enough for his continued support.”

According to NB Data, the new Hi Ho Solutions product range has been “extremely successful” with more than 30,000 units across its range sold since initial launch in June.

The business also created a range of Hi Ho Solutions-branded PPE equipment, including clear shields and face masks, for those who communicate through lipreading to assist the hard-of-hearing, as well as hand sanitisers and temperature screening equipment.

The demand for Hi Ho Solutions’ products has further strengthened NB Data’s position in the marketplace – allowing the company to employ two new members of staff.
