Centreon, a channel-first provider of open IT monitoring solutions, is planning to increase its channel investment in the UK by more than 300% over the next 12 months as it seeks to raise its profile amongst UK resellers and increase awareness of the revenue-generating possibilities of open monitoring solutions.
The company entered the UK market in 2021 with an AIOps-ready IT monitoring platform capable of monitoring converging infrastructure, from cloud-to-edge, and is now looking to engage directly with more resellers.
As part of this strategy, Centreon recently invested in silver sponsorship of the AWS Summit in Paris, London, Milan, Toronto and New York City, and Centreon UK CM Juan Lyall is looking forward to more face-to-face interactions in the months ahead.
He said: “We are a channel-first company with a growth rate of over 30% per year thanks to our unique multi-platform deployment capability, and we want to get that message out to the UK channel. With this in mind, the opportunity to attend live events and speak to partners once more has been very welcome as there is no doubt that human interaction is the way to build strong relationships.
“The AWS Summit in London was a real experience. As a relatively recent AWS partner, I didn’t have any particular expectations, but when the doors opened at 8 am, hundreds of genuinely interested people poured in and it was still ongoing at 6 pm. The quality of the attendees was excellent, and we were quite pleased to find that many of those were as interested in on-prem as they were in cloud solutions. Deploying the same platform on-premises, in the Cloud or both is currently unique in the monitoring market and we are here to help partners realise revenue opportunities and answer any queries their customers have.”
Chris Walsh, Managing Director of ABC Distribution, adds that the flexibility of Centreon’s offering is a big benefit for customers.
He said: “Each client’s specific requirements are slightly different, but Centreon as a platform is flexible enough to be tailored to suit them all. As a company, we pride ourselves on not having a one-size-fits-all approach and Centreon allows us to do this very successfully.”
