Finnish mobile company HMD Global, exclusive licensee of the Nokia phone brand, is meeting demand for more affordable, longer lasting smartphones with the launch of six new Nokia devices. These are the Nokia X20/X10 (top of the range), Nokia G20/G10 (intermediate) and Nokia C20/C10 (entry-level), with prices starting at just €75.
All feature strong security, superior durability and regular software updates to maintain performance levels over their lifetime. In a survey commissioned to support the launch, 78% of UK respondents said they would keep a phone for longer if it maintained performance over its lifetime. Globally, 69% of consumers agreed that smartphones are too expensive and 81% said they want them to last longer.
