ViewSonic is looking forward to working more closely with Microsoft to realise the benefits of EdTech for teachers and students after becoming a Microsoft Education partner. Its whiteboard software is already available as a Desktop application, myViewBoard for Windows 10, which allows users to write, highlight, edit and transform documents and images on interactive displays in real-time.
This includes integration with Microsoft Education tools, such as Immersive Reader, a learning tool that provides a full-screen reading experience to increase readability of text, as well as Bing Image Search, Text to Speech, Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive and Skype for Business. Further integration between myViewBoard and the Microsoft Education ecosystem is likely, starting with a Windows Store version currently in development and due out later this year.
Craig Scott, CTO of ViewSonic and president of ViewSonic EME/ANZ, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Microsoft Education to help realise the true potential of
EdTech for educators and students alike; myViewBoard for Windows creates an individualised whiteboard experience that is cloud storage-integrated, highly secured and multifunctional. It is truly a one-stop solution for enhancing how educators prepare, present and interact with students.”
