Datech Solutions, the Autodesk-focused business of Tech Data, has signed an agreement with iOFFICE + SpaceIQ that will enable Autodesk partners to tackle the challenges customers have around hybrid work and sustainability with an integrated building lifecycle management solution.
The solution comprises iOFFICE + SpaceIQ’s all-in-one Archibus workplace management platform, which empowers building professionals to manage and optimise space, operations and maintenance, and the Autodesk AEC Collection, which provides designers, engineers and contractors with a set of BIM and CAD tools supported by a cloud-based common data environment for project delivery from early-stage design through to construction.
Nick Stefanidakis, VP Alliances & Channels for iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, said: “Our partnership with Datech gives Autodesk partners the opportunity to offer Archibus alongside BIM solutions. With tighter integration of BIM data and deeper insights into operations and workflows, professionals can make more informed design choices. They can create environments that optimise efficiency, comfort and sustainability and provide the capability to adapt to unexpected change for their end user customers.”
In September 2021, Autodesk announced a strategic investment in iOFFICE + SpaceIQ as part of its efforts to bring BIM and digital twin technologies to the full building lifecycle.
