The Birmingham office of IT support and cyber security consultancy Urban Network has donated four new high spec PCs to the charity free@last for use in its Nechells community centre.
John Street from free@ last says the charity will use the PCs as part of its campaign to combat digital poverty. He said: “We’ve created a drop-in hub where locals of all ages can get access to computers and receive help and training from another of our strategic partners, Digital Innovators, a local company who have someone on-site daily.
The sessions are proving popular with attendees ranging from 12-80 years of age.”
