IT monitoring platform provider Centreon is expanding into the UK and Ireland to meet growing demand for effective IT monitoring and AIOps solutions.
In a recent survey conducted by the company, 77% of UK CIOs expressed dissatisfaction with existing monitoring tools.
Centreon monitors today’s complex and converging IT infrastructures, from cloud to edge, providing IT operations with the insights needed to enhance problem solving, optimise critical systems and ensure performance excellence.
Its new UKI operation will be headed up by UKI Country Manager Juan Lyall, a 20-year veteran of the software industry, who will be responsible for implementing the company’s ‘MSP and partners first’ strategy.
Lyall said: “I am thrilled to join Centreon at such an amazing time in the company’s international development. Even more than elsewhere in Europe, British CIOs will be actively looking to enrich their IT Operations stacks to help them keep up with the post-COVID acceleration of digital transformation projects. My main aims will be to expand our network of partners in the UK and help UK MSPs serve joint customers with mission-critical IT.”
Centreon already has a strong global presence, with operations in France, Benelux, DACH, Spain, Italy and North America, serving 600 MSP and enterprise clients and 200,000 users.
Its expansion into the UK and Ireland will enable it to address Europe’s largest market at a time of significant growth across the region.
Gartner forecasts the Western European IT operations market to reach $11.7 billion by the end of 2024, at a CAGR of 8.1%, with the UK and Ireland accounting for almost 30% of the total ($3.4 billion)*.
