IT solutions provider Comtec Enterprises is building on its successful 2020 by upgrading its network capabilities to enable it to deliver more managed services and better security to its expanding client base.
In addition to two new Schneider data suites that will enable it to handle increased customer demand for managed IT services, Comtec has invested in new storage and service arrays from Dell.
These include a new cluster of Dell PowerEdge Servers running the latest VMware vSphere 7 in an high availability (HA) environment and a high performance all flash SSD Dell Storage array.
The investment follows a successful 2020 and the planned recruitment of 15 trainee service engineers and 15 juniors to the company’s sales and pre-sales teams.
Nick Claxson, CEO of Comtec Enterprises, said: “While not without its challenges, 2020 saw incredible growth for Comtec. Wanting to end the year on a high and ensure we hit the ground running in 2021, we used the holiday period to replace much of our existing network with new infrastructure that would allow us to meet these growth opportunities head on. That work is now complete, and I’m pleased to announce that our capacity for end-to-end security, managed services offerings and overall network stability has seen a massive increase.”
