Cloud communications provider Fuze has rounded out its suite of Google product integrations with a Fuze GSuite add-on for Gmail, offering one-click calling from a Gmail thread and a calendar integration, directly in Chrome with no need for plug-ins or downloads.
Fuze’s suite also includes Fuze Web for Google Chrome, which provides the same experience and tools as the Fuze Desktop directly in Chrome, and the Google Chrome Browser Extension, which provides dial pad access for direct dialling a phone number from the toolbar and a click-to-call option that enables users to make phone calls from any webpage that lists a phone number.
This extension includes the Fuze Meeting Google plug-in, which allows Fuze users to schedule and edit Fuze meetings and utilise click-to-join from Google Calendar.
Jed Brown, SVP of Product at Fuze, said: “The global shift towards remote work has drastically increased the demand for UC solutions to help maintain business continuity and productivity. Since early March, we have seen Fuze Web users triple and total web calls increase by over 750%. Our expanded integration with Google is one of the latest developments in our effort to eliminate any barriers to productivity and collaboration, while enhancing the user experience.”
