BOM IT Solutions, the Bristol-based IT services provider, has become technology partner to Gympanzees, a provider of pop-up play centres for disabled children, young people and their families.
The Bristol-based charity recently launched an appeal to raise £2.2 million to build the first permanent Gympanzees leisure centre in Bristol for the 60,000 disabled children and young people living within an hour of the city. BOM IT Solutions will support Gympanzees over the next three years, donating time and resources, including free IT support services and technical systems within the facility.
Andy Carter, Managing Director at BOM IT Solutions, said: “We chose to support Gympanzees because we feel passionate about this cause and the work they do within the local area. Bristol has a severe shortage of facilities to cater to the needs of disabled children and young people. As a local business we want to support local charities and make sure they have the IT infrastructure they need to be able to carry out their important work.”
