Lack of skills holds back cloud services

Resellers have identified a critical lack of skills as the biggest challenge to selling and supporting cloud services, according to research conducted at cloud distributor intY’s annual Cloud Fest event.

Lack of skills was cited by 37% of the cloud resellers questioned, followed by a lack of staff to sell cloud solutions (31%).

Despite these difficulties, more than half (51%) of resellers say that selling cloud services has given them a competitive edge.
