Nigel Dyson has been appointed as Head of Development at MyPhones. Nigel joins Paul Gibbs, Sales Director and Andrew Robinson, Manging Director, in driving growth at MyPhones.
As a passionate technologist and software architect, Nigel brings a proven 25-year track record in software development and leading teams to rapidly deliver real value to customers.
The appointment confirms the increased commitment of MyPhones to build on the, incredibly successful Altos, white label, telephony platform to meet the future needs of resellers and their customers.
This significant addition to the senior management team is key in taking the company’s development forward, following their recent investment in a third UK data centre earlier this year, adding further capacity for increased growth.
Andrew Robinson, MD, commented “MyPhones has seen a huge increase in resellers signing up over the past 12 months and this role is key to continuing to deliver on the requirements of our partners and customers. Our resellers enjoy the fact that our white label Altos platform offers a unique opportunity for them to maximise margins, with flexibility to ‘unbundle the bundle’, choose handsets, SIP connectivity and licence types and truly create their own solution while being supported by a platform with rock solid reliability statistics. Nigel Dyson has all the expertise and experience we need to continue to develop the platform and continue to support our partners as their customer’s needs develop.”
The team at MyPhones has grown exponentially over the last 12months and we have more appointments in the pipeline. The demand in businesses to provide remote working solutions and mobility for their workforce and the ISDN switch off has driven an increase in the demand for the flexibility offered by the Altos hosted telephony platform and services including MS Teams Integration and a reporting platform that sets them apart against the competition.
At the MyPhones Partner Day, we will showcase the whole new look portal with new easier to use menu structures, colour choices and more, alongside other developments including sales tools and reporting.
Paul Gibbs, Sales Director, said “We are really looking forward to our partner day. We a have a lot of new partners and many that have been with us through our journey of development. Our partners like working with us and the flexibility we can provide as a UK based company, with all our research, development and support taking place in the UK, free from the restrictions of larger platform providers such as Broadsoft and Asterisk. With Nigel Dyson at the helm of development, our partners can expect even more features not offered by these other platforms, which can give them the edge in winning business.”
