PLM Global, a Nottingham-based specialist in the supply, repair and maintenance of hand-held data capture devices, mobile print and EPoS hardware, is looking forward to continued growth following a change of ownership and a new management team.
On August 1 2022, Shane Watson, one of the company’s founding shareholders, became CEO and majority shareholder of the company with the backing of SME Capital.
He is supported by Wayne Swallow, who after two years as a Non-Exec will take on the role of Chairman. Swallow has 30 years of experience in Retail Technology and Logistics, including spells as MD of Htec and IT Director at Nisa.
Other members of the executive team include Rob Alcock, promoted to Sales Director; Leroy Stratford, Head of Finance; and Matt Leary, Operations Manager.
PLM Global has a turnover of £4.5 million, 21 employees, more than 200 clients across six continents and two UK repair, rental and refurbishment sites (in Portishead and Nottingham).
