Hot on the heels of a £30 million funding deal with HSBC, Onecom, the UK’s largest independent business telecommunications provider for SMEs, plans to increase the value of its business with Vodafone over the next five years to £600 million.
Under a new partnership agreement with Vodafone UK, the biggest in its history, Onecom expects to generate more than £100 million in annual revenue from Vodafone’s mobile, fixed line, broadband and IT services.
Under the agreement, Onecom has made a commitment to growth of 300% in fixed line services and leadership in unified communications solutions for SMEs.
The deal will enable Onecom to profit from Vodafone’s ambitious B2B growth plans and its 5G roll-out, with 64% of SMEs surveyed by the company considering the possibility of upgrading to 5G within six months of it becoming available.
Ben Dowd, Onecom CEO, said: “In renewing this partnership, Vodafone has recognised Onecom’s significant contribution to growing mobile revenues and driving further growth in fixed line and IoT, as well as our award-winning customer service. We are now well placed to deliver on our mission of offering UK SMEs best-in-class converged mobile, data and IT solutions that are tailored to their needs.”
Onecom was named Vodafone Total Communications Partner of the Year in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
