Organisations to reward good GDPR behaviour

Organisations (88%) around the world plan to drive employee GDPR behavioural changes through a combination of training, rewards, penalties and contracts, according to The Veritas 2017 GDPR Report.

Almost half (47%) of businesses plan to add mandatory GDPR policy adherences into employment agreements; 41% are ready to implement employee disciplinary procedures if GDPR policies are violated; and 25% would consider withholding benefits, including bonuses, from employees found to be non-compliant. One third (34%) say they will reward employees for complying with GDPR policies.
