New CFO for Agilitas

Channel services provider Agilitas IT Solutions has expanded its senior management team, with the appointment of Steve McMullan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). McMullan has more than 25 years’ experience in senior financial roles including 10 years working for private equity-backed businesses like Lifeways Group, Aspirations Care, Kisimul Group and Valorum Care Group. He has a strong track record of growing multi-site B2B businesses, organically and through M&A, before realising value through exit.


Mattie Yeta

CGI backs Net-Zero goals with CSO role

As part of a commitment to reach Net-Zero in the UK by 2026, CGI has appointed Mattie Yeta to the newly created role of Chief Sustainability Officer. Yeta joins the executive team of the independent IT and business consulting services firm from The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), where she was Head of Sustainability, IT. Reporting to Tara McGeehan, President of CGI in the UK & Australia, Yeta will be responsible for working towards common sustainability goals, developing strong relationship with the United Nations and COP summits, and providing actionable insights for clients.


Nicola Dowling

Dowling promoted to Ricoh Europe CEO

Ricoh Europe has promoted Nicola Downing from COO to CEO, with responsibility for the overall performance and strategic direction of the company and its subsidiaries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She succeeds David Mills, who will remain with Ricoh Europe as Chairman, focusing on strengthening Ricoh Europe’s digital services capabilities and providing guidance and consultancy to the company’s management team.


Chhatralia move prompts structural changes in Exertis UK leadership

Exertis UK has made structural changes to its senior leadership team and created the new role of Chief Experience Officer, following the move of Chief Digital and Marketing Officer Vishal Chhatralia into a global role. Chhatralia, who has been developing digital capabilities within Exertis UK, including online, cloud, direct2consumer, data analytics and robotic process automation, since joining the company in 2019, will now focus on accelerating digital transformation across Exertis International. Reporting into Tim Griffin, Managing Director of DCC Technology, he will also take on responsibility for Exertis’ own brand portfolio and global vendor account management. Following Chhatralia’s move, Exertis UK has transferred Phill Turner, Global Head of Voice of the Customer, into the newly created position of Chief Experience Officer. Reporting to Exertis UK Managing Director Paul Bryan, Turner will assume responsibility for customer services and sales operations, as well as customer orientation throughout IT, Operations, HR, Finance, Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Digital and Purchasing to ensure a seamless experience across all touchpoints in the customer journey. Robert Fitzsimons, UK Marketing Director, and Kati Eagle, Purchasing Director, will also now report directly into Paul Bryan.


Gibson Nascimento promoted to Head of EMEA at Sensedia

Multinational technology company and API specialist Sensedia is strengthening its position in the UK and Europe with the appointment of Gibson Nascimento as its Head of EMEA operations. With a head office in São Paulo, Brazil and a presence in Peru, Colombia, Mexico, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and Lithuania, Sensedia helps companies become more digital, connected and open, using APIs to integrate legacy systems and channels and create modern multi-cloud/ hybrid architectures. In 2021, it achieved a 70% rise in revenue to more than R$130 million (Brazilian Reals) and increased its headcount from 200 to 650, while also securing R$120 million of investment from US company Riverwood Capital. This year it is planning further international expansion, including in the US, with the aim of doubling revenue and increasing staff numbers to 1,100. Nascimento first worked for Sensedia from 2011 to 2015 before re-joining the company in 2019 as its Dublin-based Head of Solutions, working with colleagues in Brazil on the development of solutions for European clients. Now the company’s Head of EMEA operations, Nascimento will be hosting Sensedia’s APIX conference in London on June 29/30.


Steven Try

New Channel Manager for Snom

IP phone manufacturer Snom has bolstered its UK channel management team with the appointment of Steven Try as a channel manager for the UK and Ireland. Working alongside Lee Underwood, whose primary focus is Snom distributors, platform partners and its largest resellers, Try will be responsible for supporting the company’s mid-level resellers. Try has worked in the telecoms industry for nearly 20 years, starting out at Alcatel-Lucent before spending time at Avaya, Panasonic and, for the last 3 years, with a Titanium 3CX reseller. Commenting on his new role, Try said: “Snom UK wants to have the market penetration it has elsewhere in Europe. We’re aiming to become the vendor of choice for resellers who have multiple handsets in their product portfolio. As the team puts it, we want to ‘Snomify’ the UK comms market – and we can only achieve this by continuing to look after our existing partners and recruiting new ones.”


Exabeam boosts EMEA presence with EMEA VP

 Exabeam is boosting its EMEA team and supporting growing demand for its Fusion SIEM and Fusion XDR products in the region with the appointment of Richard Orange as its new EMEA Vice President. Previously VP of EMEA Sales for data loss prevention software company Digital Guardian, Orange has significant experience of leading high growth sales teams across reseller/SI, MSSP and vendor environments, including leadership roles at Forescout Technologies, F5 and HP Enterprise Security Services. Commenting on his appointment, Orange said: “I’m excited to join Exabeam as customers across all industries in EMEA turn to the company for its trusted cloud-based cyber analytics products to shore up insider threat programs and overall security posture. The threat landscape is only getting more complex and Exabeam is uniquely positioned to help prevent CISOs and their security teams from being blindsided, helping them understand what ‘normal’ behaviour looks like in their organisation so they can more quickly identify and stop adversaries.” Chris Cesio, Chief Revenue Officer at Exabeam, added: “With the company valued at $2.4 billion following our Series F funding round, EMEA is a key territory in our growth plans. Richard will help drive the business forward as we continue to focus on delivering Next- gen SIEM and other security operations solutions.”
