Lindsay Gallard confirmed in People role at Six Degrees
Cloud-led managed services provider Six Degrees is enhancing its talent retention and acquisition capabilities with the appointment of CIPD member Lindsay Gallard as Chief People Officer (CPO). Gallard, who joined Six Degrees in 2018 and was previously Executive Operations Director, has been Interim People Director since January. Six Degrees CEO Simon Crawley-Trice said: “The war for talent is intensifying and IT services will continue to be one of the most competitive industries. We are pleased to welcome Lindsay to the role of CPO; his deep HR expertise, drive for leading-edge practice and, above all, commitment to our people will put us on the best footing to attract and retain the prime talent we need.”


Julian Browne

Julian Browne appointed CTO at, the fast growing, UK-based online marketplace, is preparing for its new IT plans, improvements and integrations with the appointment of Julian Browne as Chief Technology Officer. Browne has more than 30 years’ experience in leading tech and product teams and implementing digital and cultural transformations, including spells as CTO of private equity-backed scale-up Comparison Technologies, Head of Engineering at Hive and Chief Architect at O2. Commenting on his appointment, Browne said: “I feel I’ve joined OnBuy at a significant and exciting point in its journey, as it breaks free of its start-up roots to become a truly major player in the marketplace sector. Jon Blagg

Jon Blagg to lead managed services team at Kocho
Kocho, a UK-based provider of cyber security, identity, cloud transformation
and managed services, has recruited Jon Blagg to develop and grow its managed services team in the newly created role of Director of Managed Services. Formed in April 2022, one year after TiG Data Intelligence’s acquisition of ThirdSpace, Kocho combines the former’s expertise in Microsoft cloud technology and the latter’s expertise in identity and cyber security to help mid-market and enterprise customers achieve secure cloud transformation. Blagg brings 25 years of experience in managing and leading successful IT support teams in a variety of companies including Volkswagen Group UK and Whitbread PLC. Headquartered in London, Kocho also has operations in Cardiff and Manilla. Customers include BUPA, AVIVA, William Blair and Liontrust Asset Management.


Justin McGuigan

Managed services specialist joins Workflo Solutions
Outsourced managed services company Workflo Solutions has appointed Justin McGuigan as Managed Service Specialist to support business opportunities across the company’s managed print, telephony and document digitisation portfolios. McGuigan joins Workflo Solutions from managed print specialist Agilico, which had acquired his previous employer, the office equipment supplier Leemic, in 2020.


Rainer Stiller

Stiller promoted to Vertiv CMO

Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has named Rainer Stiller as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Stiller joined Vertiv in 2017 as Vice President of Marketing for EMEA, and was later promoted to Vice President, Global Channel Marketing. Stiller has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles at F500 and Euro Stoxx 50 companies.


Tom Warren

Ex-rugby pro to drive sales at Pyramid Analytics
Unified decision intelligence platform provider Pyramid Analytics has appointed ex-professional rugby player Tom Warren as Regional Managing Director, UK and Ireland (UKI), with responsibility for enterprise sales, business development and the channel & solutions engineering functions. Following its recent $120 million Series E funding round, Pyramid aims to double the headcount at its London operations to meet growing demand for decision intelligence tools and to provide a base for EMEA expansion.  Decision intelligence lowers the skills barrier in analytics and reduces cost and complexity by automating the technical work needed to prepare and analyse data and create and share reports and dashboards.  Since retiring from rugby 12 years ago, Warren has held a variety of senior sales roles including Regional Sales Director at ServiceNow, Senior Director for EMEA Enterprise renewals at Blue Prism and, most recently, Area VP Northern Europe at cloud-based logistics platform Bringg. In his rugby career, Warren played for Worcester Warriors, when they won the Division 1 title in 2004; London Irish, including an English Premiership semi-final and European Challenge Cup final in 2006; Grand Parma in Italy; and finally Esher RFC, where he was Scrum Coach and Director of the Academy.


Tom Ellison

Mendix completes leadership revamp

Siemens business and low-code application development pioneer Mendix has appointed Tom Ellison as Chief Financial Officer, a role previously held by new CEO Tim Srock. His appointment completes the transformation of the Mendix leadership team as it prepares to extend its operations across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific and sustain its current hyper-growth trajectory. Since it was acquired by Siemens in 2018, Mendix has posted 300% growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR) driven by growing interest in low-code technology from enterprises looking to accelerate the time-to-impact of digital solutions and to transform software development from a cost centre to a cornerstone of enterprise innovation. The Mendix enterprise low-code platform has been adopted by more than 4,000 companies in 46 countries and Gartner projects that by 2025 70% of all software development will take place on low-code or no-code platforms. Based in Rotterdam, Ellison has two decades of experience at American and European technology companies, including Dassault Systemes, Hutchinson 3G, Nortel and, most recently, ServiceNow.
