Tech Data appoints business manager for AR/VR
As part of a strategic investment to help partners realise the growth potential of augmented and mixed reality in training, healthcare and retail applications, Tech Data has appointed Harry Ellis as dedicated business manager for mixed and virtual reality. Hybrid cloud provider Ensono has appointed Hannah Birch as General Manager and Deputy Managing Director, Europe. Birch is joining Ensono from Accenture where she led the company’s UK Technology Business for Insurance and was a member of the Technology Leadership Team for UK & Ireland. Before that she held leadership positions at Fujitsu Services UK and Computacenter. New Director of Channel Sales at Pulsant
Cloud and co-location specialist Pulsant has appointed Rob Darby as Director of Channel Sales to help channel partners capitalise on growing cloud and emerging edge opportunities through its colocation services. Darby has held several senior roles in the IT industry, including Sales Director and Commercial Director at channel-only IT services provider CommsCare, acquired by Ingram Micro in 2016. He said: “We recognise the huge emerging opportunities for channel organisations through the exponential growth of data from connected devices. DWS Board of Directors now complete
