Lyreco appoints first Head of Corporate Sustainability
Lyreco UK & Ireland is backing up its ambition to make all operations carbon neutral by 2030 by hiring Andrew Bryers as its first Head of Corporate Sustainability. Bryers joins Lyreco from Aston University where he held the post of Energy, Environment and Sustainability Manager. With more than 12 years’ experience of driving transformation within the environmental, carbon management, transportation and social value space, Bryers has been chair of five independent bodies focused on driving the CSR community forward and brings extensive experience of the National Social Value Measurement Framework, a method of reporting and measuring social value to a consistent standard. 


Tesse Van Veldhyzen

Van Veldhuyzen joins Maverick from ISE 

Maverick AV Solutions, a specialist business of Tech Data and global leader in AV distribution, has appointed Tesse Van Veldhuyzen to the new role of Maverick International Business Manager. As
part of Maverick’s Pan-European team, Van Veldhuyzen will lead international sales and roll-outs, working closely with manufacturing brands and global integrator partners across all 15 Maverick countries to facilitate installations spanning international borders. Van Veldhuyzen joins Maverick AV Solutions from Integrated Systems Europe where she was International Sales Manager


Bradley Holmes

Bradley Holmes takes on channel role at Abzorb
Abzorb, the unified communications and mobile services provider, has appointed Bradley Holmes as Service Delivery Manager with responsibility for onboarding new channel partners and helping them to grow their business. As well as working closely with resellers to identify revenue growth and new business opportunities, Holmes will deliver training programmes and help communicate the benefits of Abzorb’s wholesale telecom portfolio. He said: “I am thrilled with my new position. I started at Abzorb as an apprentice, moved into an account management role for the direct side of the business and then, most recently, led the Customer Care Team and headed up training. I am excited to work with our partners to onboard them, help them build their business and deliver a superior customer service.” 


Keeley Jones

Enreach strengthens UK management team
Unified communications provider Enreach has strengthened its UK senior management team with two new hires. Samantha Morton, with 25 years’ finance experience in the retail, manufacturing
and telecoms industries, has taken up the position of Finance Controller, while Keeley Jones has joined as Head of Customer Experience, after 18 years at Pace Telecom which was acquired by Enreach in April. Duncan Ward, Chief Executive Officer at Enreach UK, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome both Samantha and Keeley to the business. They come with unbeatable experience that will be instrumental in helping us to work wonders and move forward within the UK market.” 


Stuart Buckley

New Channel Sales Director for Node4 

Node4, a cloud-led digital transformation MSP, has made Stuart Buckley Channel Sales Director with responsibility for leading Node4’s channel and partner engagement strategy, including its Partner Markets ecosystem, which supports the development and growth of ISVs. Buckley previously spent six years as Sales Director at Starcom Technologies, which Node4 acquired in February. With over 25 years’ experience in the technology industry, Buckley has also held roles at K3 Hosting, as Head of Channel and Alliances, and at Italik, Lanway CBS and Central Networks & Technologies. He said: “Node4 has created a very strong platform with a wide range of proven products and services our partners can leverage. My key objectives include building on our understanding of partner requirements and working with my Node4 colleagues to further enhance our solutions and channel strategy. We are here to help our partners succeed in a competitive, fast-paced environment and there are huge opportunities for shared growth.”


Tekton Billing kicks off recruitment drive with new Head of New Business
At a time when mergers are causing many established channel organisations to reconsider their choice of billing platform, independent billing solution provider Tekton Billing has appointed Brett Harvey as Head of New Business. In this role, he will be instrumental in onboarding new customers and developing new tools and features for Tekton’s cloud-based, scalable billing solution ZOEY. Harvey said: “Joining Tekton presents a great opportunity for me to work with an independent channel operation that is genuinely committed to continuous development in billing and to advance an already amazing billing platform and team.” Led by the sibling team of Harry and Charlie McKeever, with the support of Chairman and father Terry McKeever, Tekton Billing plans to build on significant growth over the last 12 months with an extensive recruitment drive to ensure the highest levels of customer support for new clients. 


Coreen Bone joins North 

Following a recent investment from Livingbridge and the acquisition of Data Techniques, North, the IoT service and solutions provider with offices in Wales, North Shields, Birmingham, Glasgow and London (plus Data Techniques premises in Camberley, Southampton and Basingstoke), has taken on Coreen Bone as Chief People Officer (CPO). Reporting directly to CEO Glen Williams, Bone brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role, having previously held executive positions at Xerox Business Services, where she delivered people solutions at a global level to support large-scale growth and the integration of acquired businesses, and, more recently at Allvotec where, as CPO, she supported and guided employees throughout the pandemic. As part of North’s senior leadership team, Bone will help to shape and drive North’s people strategy, operations, culture, learning & development and talent acquisition as it focuses on regional expansion and the strengthening of service lines such as IoT and 5G within critical and complex environments. Bone said: “North has already seen incredible growth over the last year. The team rightly takes pride in the business’s strong reputation, with exceptionally experienced talent across its service lines. I am looking forward to working across the organisation and to contributing to the transformation of North into an unrivalled end-to-end service and solutions provider with world class talent and a culture which supports their employees and enables them to reach their potential.”
