Secureworks recruits for EMEA expansion
Cybersecurity company Secureworks, a Dell Technologies company, has recruited Simon Moor as its new VP EMEA Sales to expand its channel partner network in the region and build on momentum gained from a 100% year-on-year increase in ARR to $201m million in Q2 and new partnerships with Saepio in the UK, Sertalink in Benelux and Unicorp in Dubai.

Previously VP EMEA for Trellix, Moor has almost 30 years’ experience in the technology sector, including EMEA roles at Fire Eye, Checkpoint and Symantec.

Commenting on his new role, Moor said: “We’ve poured twenty plus years of managing Security Operations for our customers into an automated platform built for the many; one that enables organisations to defend themselves against the latest threats. My focus now is on how we continue to scale the business, and the channel is going to be pivotal to that.”

The Secureworks Taegis cloud-native security platform gives customers complete attack surface visibility, ingesting more than 486 billion cyber events daily from over 100 integrations and enriching those integrations with industry leading intelligence. The XDR platform also offers a live chat feature connecting customers to an expert SOC analyst in under a minute.


Creative ITC eyes further growth with new partner division
Creative ITC, a provider of managed services and cloud solutions across five continents, has recruited channel business development specialist Stephen Call to head up the partner programme for its newly established partner division.

Ben Cranham appointed Pulsant COO

Ben Cranham

UK-based digital edge infrastructure provider Pulsant has followed strategic investments in its platform, notably the acquisition of two data centres in Manchester and Reading and the launch of Pulsant Cloud, with the appointment of Ben Cranham as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Previously COO at MTI Technology Group, Cranham has two decades of experience in technology and telecoms, including leadership roles at Capita IT Enterprise Services and Trustmarque Solutions. As leader of Pulsant’s operations and cloud services teams, he will focus
on delivering service excellence across its colocation, cloud and networking services and national network of 12 interconnected data centres, edge and hybrid cloud platforms.


Coursera targets growth with Moussa appointment
Coursera, the global online learning platform, has appointed Hadi Moussa as General Manager and Managing Director, EMEA to grow its consumer, degree and enterprise business segments including Coursera for Business, Coursera for Campus, and Coursera for Governments.

Based in the UK, Moussa has previously held regional leadership positions at brands such as Deliveroo, Airbnb and Facebook.

Moussa said: “The EMEA region offers huge potential for Coursera as
both learners and institutions continue to embrace online learning to gain in- demand skills. Stronger collaboration with businesses, higher education institutions and governments will be critical to fully unlocking this opportunity and advancing Coursera’s mission in the region.”

Coursera already has 25 million registered users in EMEA and 1,000 corporate customers. In the first half of 2022, 120 companies in EMEA launched, renewed or expanded their Coursera for Business licences, including more than 60 new customers, such as Siemens, Aker Solutions, Sanofi and IKEA.


EfficientIP takes on channel expert

EfficientIP, a network automation and security company specialising in DNS- DHCP-IPAM (DDI) solutions, is aiming to develop more and stronger relationships with strategic partners in Northern Europe with the appointment of Dionne Wiesinger as Channel Manager UK, Ireland & Nordics.

Wiesinger brings over 20 years’ experience in partner relations to EfficientIP. Previous positions include Vendor Success Manager at Pax8; Regional Channel Manager at UKI & SA at Pulse Secure; Channel Account & Development Manager at Check Point Software Technologies; and Senior Channel Account Manager at Dell SonicWALL.


New Head of Channel at Sangoma

Unified communications specialist Sangoma is strengthening its channel division with the appointment of Mark Jones as Head of Channel, for UK & Ireland. Joining Sangoma from Beyond Connectivity, Jones has three decades of experience working in the technology industry, including spells at BT, Virgin, Tango and M247.

**IRIS Audio Technologies, developer of the voice isolation software IRIS Clarity, has recruited Neil Titcomb,  previously Managing
Director of SaaS contact centre company Odigo CX Solutions, as SVP Global Sales, with responsibility for driving sales in sectors that could benefit from voice isolation technology to eliminate background noise, from call centres to speech analytics.

**Delinea, a provider of privileged access management (PAM) solutions, has taken on Timothy Puccio as Senior Vice President
of Global Channels and Alliances to lead the company’s global partner ecosystem of VARs, global SIs, strategic alliances and technical partners.

**Former Thales and Symantec executive CJ Radford has joined cyber-physical systems protection company Claroty as Global VP of Channels and Alliances to oversee its network of channel and technology alliance partners serving the industrial, healthcare and commercial sectors. Claroty’s unified platform integrates with customers’ existing infrastructure to provide visibility, risk and vulnerability management, threat detection and secure remote access.

**Axonius, a specialist in cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) and SaaS management, has appointed Nick Degnan to look after its global sales organisation. Joining from Tanium, Degnan previously also held sales and channel roles at Dell EMC and Pure Storage. His appointment follows a third consecutive year of triple-digit revenue growth and extension of the Axonius Correlated Partner Program to APAC, LATAM and EMEA.
