Softcat, hard pedalling

Staff from Softcat and Mimecast have together raised £35k for Social Bite as part of the homeless charity’s Break the Cycle fundraising event, which aims to raise £1 million to help build Social Bite Villages in Glasgow and London. Alongside Sir Chris Hoy, a team of 30 cyclists from the two companies completed the 60-mile ride from the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow to the flagship Social Bite Village in Granton, Edinburgh. Since opening in July 2018, Social Bite’s Edinburgh village, in partnership with Cyrenians, has helped 43 homeless people build an independent life.
