Spitfire, the multi-award winning Internet telephony service provider and ISP, has introduced a wireless mobile Ethernet solution. The simple installation includes a Spitfire managed 4G capable router, using a ruggedized 4G SIM which has been designed to perform in more challenging environments, providing the best speed and service possible using EE’s mobile data network.
The mobile Ethernet connections are routed across Spitfire’s network in the same way as fixed line connections and any direct link between a customer site and Spitﬁre’s core network provides the same level of protection and security for data. The static IP address provided facilitates easy access to WAN applications and IoT/M2M networks.
The service starts at £30 per month plus £5PM router rental for 8Gb of data on a 12 month contract, although shorter contract length options are available. Contracts are available in increments up to 128Gb a month. Where monthly usage is not chosen to be capped, the data usage bundle will automatically upgrade based on customer data usage.
Backup circuits are available with pricing based on the primary circuit being supplied by Spitfire. Backup is configured for automatic failover, using the same IP address configuration as the primary circuit.
