SYNAXON expands managed services capability 

Channel services group SYNAXON is to put greater emphasis on distribution and managed services as it seeks to strengthen business relationships and empower partners to drive higher levels of profitability and efficiency 

As part of a new business strategy, SYNAXON will be focusing on four key pillars, all available through its new website. These are: 

*SYNAXON Managed Services, a new business unit set up to help resellers
develop managed service provider (MSP) capabilities. It is headed up by Markus Rex and Rebecca Quinlan, who, when at MSP vendor Datto, built a community of partners and accelerated the adoption of the MSP model across hundreds of businesses. Rex said: “Our offering will include the solutions and documentation our partners need to transition from a ‘break/fix’ model and give access to a community through which they can share information and best practices. Deep product knowledge of our tools and complex back-end configuration is not required, enabling our partners to increase the number of hours they’re invoicing for, serve more customers and scale their teams.” 

*SYNAXON Distribution, which gives partners access to products from manufacturers such as Lenovo, HP, Microsoft and APC without the need to achieve turnover targets or go through vendor certifications. Miguel Rodriguez, Managing Director of SYNAXON Distribution, said: “Our partners benefit directly from individual project conditions through our certifications. We also ensure the availability of the most important commercial product lines through our warehouse facility in Bolton. We offer free delivery for orders over £49 and the central handling of RMA/DOA cases. In addition, we offer our partners a platform on which they can easily handle Microsoft CSP licences, with competitive prices and personal support.”

*EGIS E-procurement platform, now enhanced with the addition of new functions and seven new distributors, including Northamber and Spire Technology. Up to 1.3 million SKUs are available for electronic ordering, with real-time price and availability information provided for most items. *EGIS eCom, SYNAXON’s fully managed web store platform, which gives resellers an online presence.
