UK Connect has won an exclusive contract to deploy, install, manage and support connectivity and IT services at all Cala Group construction sites across the UK.
Previously, the construction sector specialist supplied many, but not all, Cala Group site offices and sales suites with rapid Cellular Broadband connectivity.
Under the new contract, UK Connect will replace on-site fixed-line services and traditional IT systems at all Cala Group construction sites, including Cala Homes and Legal & General Homes sites, with 5G and IT connectivity solutions.
UK Connect’s Cellular Broadband connectivity solution can be installed in just a few days, giving Cala teams full connectivity and fast communications from day one, unlike traditional wired connectivity solutions (including copper and fibre broadband), which can take months to install on new sites.
In addition, UK Connect will provide on-site teams with a range of fully managed IT services, including Network Operations Centre (NOC), a 24/7 IT Support Helpdesk and fully configured and installed IT resources, including 5G Enterprise-Grade routers from Cradlepoint, wireless connectivity through a partnership with Ruckus Networks, VoIP telephony solutions and onsite IT hardware.
UK Connect’s national network of professional engineering teams will be available to support Cala Group’s IT needs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
