New campaign and demo programme will respond to increasing demand for Direct Routing Voice services using Microsoft Teams
Westcon, the global technology distributor and part of Westcon-Comstor, has today announced its new DR:Simplified initiative, which will provide its partners with all its best-in-class voice solutions for Microsoft Teams in one place. Supporting the initiative’s launch is Westcon’s significant investment in new, best-in-class demo loan equipment from Poly, an international leader in audio communications equipment for business and consumers.
DR:Simplified makes it easier for partners to find, compare, learn, sell and incentivise their Teams Voice business. With Microsoft Teams experiencing exponential growth and the platform now hosting over 145 million users, but less than 10% using the platform for enterprise voice calling, there is significant opportunity for partners to integrate their cloud solutions in a cost-effective way.

Westcon has partnered with Poly for its world-renowned range of Microsoft endpoints, giving partners access to the latest high-end devices such as: Microsoft Teams certified Poly Studio X50 video conferencing bar & Poly TC8 intuitive touch interface, Poly Trio C60 smart conference phone for Microsoft Teams, and Poly G-10 group collaboration system for Microsoft Teams Rooms. These solutions will be provided for end user trials by Westcon, to convince prospects of the benefits when paired with a high quality device.
As part of the new initiative, Westcon is als giving away the newly launched, top of the range Poly Voyager Focus 2 Bluetooth headset to partners for qualifying Poly and Microsoft Teams orders.
