The entire Gigaset range of desktop and cordless phones is now certified for the Broadsoft cloud PBX and UC platform, following certification of the Maxwell range, including the Basic, Maxwell 3 and new Maxwell 2 desktop IP phone. Eric Baremans, Head of Interoperability and Technical Sales at Gigaset Communications GmbH, said: “Our German quality products can now be offered in combination with Broadsoft cloud PBX and UC solutions. From now on, we offer both resellers and end users a complete portfolio of IP desktop and IP DECT telephones, suitable for the best-in-class platforms.”
Sennheiser and Kudelski Group have developed a Bluetooth headset with hardware-based encryption for secure end-to-end, headset-to-headset voice communications. PixelPin, a cyber security company based in Cheltenham, has developed an alternative and secure way for end-users to authenticate their online accounts using pictures rather than passwords or biometric information. Instead of having to remember letters or numbers, the user just has to click four points on an image in a specific order.
