Portable VPN router

InvizBox Go is a portable VPN router with built-in power bank, WiFi extension and ad blocker that enables travellers to encrypt internet traffic and access blocked content globally. Each InvizBox Go has access to a fast and secure Virtual Private Network (VPN), consisting of over 500 servers in 20 countries, to keep internet traffic safe whilst still allowing access to blocked websites anywhere in the world. It can connect to (and charge) multiple devices and in ‘extender mode’ can strengthen connections in a WiFi weak spot.

Air taxi

Kitty Hawk, a company backed by Google co-founder Larry Page, has unveiled an electric flying taxi called Cora. Cora is a self-flying aircraft that can take off vertically like a helicopter and transition to flying like a plane. As such, it has the potential to take off from rooftops and transport people across cities. Kitty Hawk is restricted by flying regulations in the USA but is working with the government of New Zealand to bring Cora to market.

Integrated mPOS

Panasonic has introduced an integrated mobile point-of-sale solution for its Toughpad FZ-G1 tablet. Wrapping around the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 tablet, the device holder allows the tablet to be used with a mobile payment solution, such as the Ingenico iSMP4 or Verifone e355. The Ingenico payment device connects to the tablet via USB, with dual charging of both devices, while the Verifone device connects by Bluetooth and is charged separately.
