Tech Data is expanding its gaming portfolio with a range of accessories from Roccat, including the Roccat Vulcan Aimo keyboard and surround sound Khan headphones. In an exclusive for the CSP channel, Giacom is to offer Conference Call by Meetupcall to its reseller-only channel. The secure SaaS-based service enables users to arrange, set up and manage a conference call for up to 200 attendees, share presentation slides and make recordings via a feature-rich dashboard. Giacom CEO Mike Wardell said: “We are thrilled to partner with Meetupcall to help sell their smart solution exclusively to our resellers as a straightforward, unlimited-minutes and no hidden charges package, all for one monthly fee. CMS Distribution has signed a UK and Ireland distribution agreement with DrayTek, a manufacturer of business-class broadband and networking solutions, including routers, firewalls, switches and wireless access points. Justin Griffths, Group Director of Solutions at CMS Distribution, said: “IT managers look for robust networking solutions to minimise risk for the business and expect them to come with additional capabilities including failover to secondary connections, web content filtering, provision of WiFi across sites and multisite management. Nimans has expanded its network infrastructure portfolio with new gateway solutions from Sangoma. Sangoma’s VoIP gateways connect legacy analogue and ISDN telephony systems to IP networks, providing all the benefts of SIP without associated installation costs. Judith Addison, Nimans Business Manager (Networking), said: “This is great for businesses with legacy phone equipment, such as an analogue PBX, that want to connect to SIP trunking services without having to spend money ripping out their existing phone systems. In addition, Sangoma’s Vega gateways are great for businesses with an IP-PBX that need PSTN connectivity for emergency fallback.”
To help resellers take advantage of growing demand for Dynamics 365, Tech Data is to distribute the Dynamics-Go CRM in a box’ from Microsoft cloud solutions specialist Axon IT. This gives resellers a pre-defined framework for selling and setting up Dynamics 365, backed up by expert consultancy and support. Nick Stancliffe, Tech Data UK Business Development Manager for Modern Workplace Solutions, said: “Dynamics Go is ideal for the many Microsoft partners that are building their cloud business through Microsoft CSP with Office 365 and Azure. They often uncover opportunities for Dynamics 365 but lack the capability to exploit them. Our partnership with Axon will enable them to do that and add a further revenue stream to their business.”
Kaptivo has appointed Nuvias as EMEA enterprise distributor for its whiteboard collaboration solution. The Kaptivo whiteboard collaboration system lets customers digitise their existing, dry-erase whiteboard and share it with remote users at the press of a button. With easy integration into conferencing systems that are already part of the Nuvias UC vendor portfolio, such as BlueJeans, Dolby, Polycom and Lifesize, Nuvias will be able to offer Kaptivo to channel partners as part of a complete business solution.
Enterprise cloud computing company Nutanix has extended its distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics to cover the UK, as well as France, Benelux, Spain, Portugal and Scandinavia. Clients of Arrow in the UK will now be able to offer Nutanix data centre technologies based on server virtualisation for distributed application environments, including virtual desktop infrastructure, data analytics, cloud and unified communications.
Exertis Hammer has become the first distributor of Seagate Enterprise Data Solutions across Europe after extending its existing Seagate offering with Seagate Exos and Nytro systems. These modular enterprise data solutions enable customers to build their own infrastructure or immediately deploy fully optimised end-to-end systems. Seagate Exos Systems, based on high-capacity Exos enterprise hard drives, can provide 1.4PB of business intelligence in 4U of rack space or 168TB in two rack units. Seagate Nytro Systems combine a selection of Seagate Nytro ﬂash drives in enclosures to support a fully optimised, end-to-end system.
NEC has appointed Lang UK to help serve the rental, staging and high-end events sector. The specialist provider to rental companies will include NEC PA, PX and PH series installation projectors and NEC large format displays in its trade-only hire stock. Nuvias has signed an agreement with One Identity to distribute its identity and access management (IAM) solutions in the UK. Ian Kilpatrick, EVP Cybersecurity for Nuvias, said: “One Identity is a multilayered solution that allows users to begin at one point and gradually roll out more integrated modules to build up a comprehensive, automated IAM system in a structured and strategic manner.”
