The company’s full product range will be available from Midwich in the UK and Square One in Ireland. Westcon has strengthened the IoT security pillar within its NGS (Next Generation Solutions) go-to-market strategy through a global distribution agreement with Ordr, which specialises in securing connected devices, including unmanaged IoT (Internet of Things), IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) and OT (Operational Technology) devices. Ordr’s platform, purpose-built for visibility and security of all connected devices, automatically discovers and classifies every device and continuously analyses them to map communication patterns, detect any malicious or anomalous traffic and proactively secure each device through dynamic policy generation and segmentation. Daniel Hurel, VP Westcon EMEA – Cyber Security & Next Gen Solutions, said: “With the global IoT security market predicted to grow from US $12.5 billion in 2020 to US $36.6 billion by 2025 and the number of IoT devices globally soaring towards 75 billion, this new distribution agreement with Ordr is set to play a crucial part in bringing our IOT security
offering to market.”
