Bechtle, the German IT system house and e-commerce provider, has taken its three-year relationship with Getac to a new level by agreeing to distribute Getac’s entire portfolio of rugged computing solutions throughout the UK and EMEA. Panasonic is extending its relationship with rugged computing distributor CI Distribution to include the company’s Windows and Android Toughbook handheld devices, as well as its rugged tablets and notebooks. CI Distribution will support more than 600 resellers in the UK and Ireland. Sales and Marketing Director Jon Atherton said: “Panasonic has long been a market leader in the rugged notebook and tablet market and we are looking forward to helping grow its rugged handheld market share. Our specialist knowledge of the Rugged market and its complete range of rugged solutions and accessories will make a potent partnership.” Panasonic’s rugged handhelds combine the capabilities of a handheld tablet, smartphone and barcode reader in a fully rugged, pocket-sized package.

In a new partnership with LogMeIn, cloud products marketplace Pax8 is to offer MSP customers the company’s LastPass password management, single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication solution. Designed especially for MSPs, LastPass has one central admin console where partners can view, access and manage customers, while securely protecting passwords and managing access to applications. Midwich Group has extended its North American distribution agreement with AVer to other regions, including the UK and Ireland. Midwich channel partners will have access to the full range of AVer Video Conferencing (VC) and Professional AV products. AVer is an approved partner of Zoom and its video collaboration solutions are Microsoft Teams and Google Meet certified.
