Cloud products marketplace Pax8 has upgraded its existing distribution agreement with Nerdio into a global arrangement, empowering Pax8 partners worldwide to build successful cloud practices in Microsoft Azure with the Nerdio Manager for MSP platform. Nerdio’s centralised solution streamlines the deployment, management and optimisation of Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) environments across all tenants, with the ability to automatically provision a complete WVD environment in under an hour, connect to an existing deployment in minutes, manage all clients through a single pane of glass admin portal, and optimise WVD environments with powerful autoscaling. Nerdio claims the Azure managed application can also help MSPs achieve savings of up to 75% on Azure compute and storage costs. Ryan Walsh, Chief Product Officer and Channel Chief at Pax8, said: “As companies begin transitioning back into their offices, many will maintain some aspect of remote work enabled through Microsoft’s WVD solution.
