Tech Data has strengthened its wearables portfolio with consumer-focused outdoor

Suunto – connected sports watches

sports and fitness products from Suunto, a global leader in connected sports watches, dive computers and precision instruments. Roland product

Holdan, a specialist distributor to the professional video and broadcast sector, has entered into an agreement to distribute Roland products in the UK and Ireland (through Square One). Roland’s Professional AV division provides solutions for AV professionals operating in a variety of markets including live event production, live streaming, education, corporate meetings, worship, videography and gaming. Allan Leonhardsen, Managing Director of Holdan, said: “Roland’s portfolio is perfectly positioned to meet users’ needs, especially now that adapting to new challenges has become an everyday task. Roland understands users’ needs in real-world conditions, and we know that users of traditional video products, who have adapted their presentations to new platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, will find their product offering very compelling.” 


CMS Distribution and ASUS have signed a new distribution agreement covering the latter’s gaming peripherals and computer components. Asus Country Product Manager John Macdonald said: “ASUS are very excited to be partnering with CMS Distribution, placing our products in the hands of their customers, and believe they are a key partner who are strategically positioned to drive and represent the ASUS brand in the UK Market.” 


Tech Data has added QNAP business- class, network-attached storage (NAS) devices to its NAS portfolio, giving UK partners an additional set of NAS options to take to mid-range and enterprise customers that need fast, efficient and easy-to deploy storage solutions. Adam Lee, Tech Data Business Unit Manager, Global Computing Components (GCC), Europe, said: “With the boom in hybrid and home working, demand for enterprise-class storage solutions that are quick and easy to deploy and manage has been escalating. QNAP has a great reputation and is a valuable addition to our portfolio. It means we can offer our partners more NAS options and that they, in turn, can extend their reach and potential with NAS. Pax8 is enabling MSPs to provide clients with seamless integration between their existing phone systems and Microsoft Teams through a global agreement  with Qunifi. By voice-enabling Teams, Call2Teams enables a business’s employees to make and receive calls in Microsoft Teams utilising existing phone services (and numbers), from anywhere, with no need for new phone lines or numbers. 


SourceIT, a specialist in the design, distribution and support of physical security solutions for integrators, has added Ava Security’s intelligent cloud video security solution to its video surveillance systems portfolio. This comprises the Ava Aware Cloud video management system, Ava cameras and Ava Cloud Connector, which extends a video surveillance solution with full analytics and operational insights to existing security cameras and systems. CMS Distribution has signed its first distribution agreement with a gaming chair brand. BraZen, the largest UK-owned gaming chair brand, provides British- designed PC, office and sound chairs in a range of colours, styles and sizes to suit the different needs of mobile, console and PC gamers, eSports professionals and hobbyists. Gary Beresford, Founder & CEO of BraZen Gaming Chairs, said: “We feel CMS Distribution are the stepping stone BraZen need to grow. I see a great future for BraZen and CMS Distribution as we enter a new chapter in the Gaming Chair market.” 


Westcon-Comstor has extended its existing distribution agreement with Sandvine, a market leader in cloud-based Service Innovation and Intelligence solutions, to cover Europe and Asia-Pac, as well as the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Adrian Fitzgerald, Chief Revenue Officer at Sandvine, said: “We are excited to expand our successful relationship with Westcon to Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Westcon’s industry and channel expertise, value-added services and regional presence will help more customers benefit from Sandvine’s Service Innovation and Intelligence portfolio as they seek to improve network and application performance and deliver better customer experiences.” Service providers and enterprises around the world use Sandvine real-time network traffic data and analytics solutions to manage congestion, cyber security and video streaming, prioritise business- critical applications and devices, and offer usage-based plans. :
