Nuvias has added Gigamon advanced visibility solutions to its range of networking and cybersecurity solutions. Gigamon solutions complement the distributor’s portfolio, including Riverbed’s end user experience monitoring and network and application performance services, by delivering rich network data and complete visibility across physical, virtual and cloud networks. As its exclusive distributor, Northamber has been trained by Swivel Secure’s technical experts to ensure that it is able to deliver the highest levels of service. Cybersecurity software provider Alsid is partnering with Exclusive Networks France to help businesses protect themselves from attacks on Active Directory (AD). Alsid’s cloud solution detects attacks on AD in real time, stopping them from spreading across a network. Emmanuel Gras, CEO and co-founder of Alsid, said: “AD security is an untapped commercial opportunity for partners and resellers. This is the first time we have partnered with a global distributor and, by teaming up with Exclusive Networks, we will benefit from its expertise and network of resellers in order to better support our customers. This strategic partnership demonstrates our commitment to the channel, and we will expand it to other countries in the near future.” Alsid was founded in 2016 and, in April, raised €13 million of Series A funding to accelerate its growth in Europe, Asia and the US. Acronis has appointed Acronis Emerging Markets (AEM) to distribute its full range of cyber protection products in Latin America and Africa, including the provision of training and support for partners and service providers. AEM is an independent company led by Garry Kondakov, an IT and cybersecurity veteran with more than 15 years’ experience in building business for tech companies. To meet growing demand for cyber protection services in these regions, Kondakov has already established teams in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and South Africa.
