Xelion announces interoperability with Daisy HV. Select

Xelion UK, the multi-award winning cloud telephony provider, has announced interoperability with Daisy Hosted Voice Select (HV. Select) SIP trunks. The Xelion platform is vendor agnostic which means customers can connect any network, manufacturer, CRM, SIP provider and third-party apps to the platform. This approach enables Xelion partners to build solutions with best of breed apps that meet specific customer requirements, instead of a ‘one-size-fits-all’ service.

Designed as an ISDN replacement for when the service is withdrawn by Openreach in 2025, SIP trunks typically offer business quality, secure VoIP telephony at up to 50 per cent less than the monthly rental cost of an equivalent ISDN service. Daisy Connect prides itself on delivering value-adding products that are easy to buy and simple to use, enabling customers to concentrate on growing their businesses.

Commenting on HV. Select interoperability, Dave Reynolds, Xelion UK Managing Director said, “We are delighted to now offer full interoperability with Daisy HV. Select. As a market leader in telephony network services, Daisy is at the forefront of SIP trunks provision, ahead of the withdrawal of ISDN in 2025. Our partners now have full assurance that Xelion and HV. Select are a perfect fit!”

About Xelion

Xelion was founded in the Netherlands by Micha Cohen in 1988. The Xelion cloud-based telephony solution was developed in 2012 to optimise the efficiency and performance of business communication. In 2016 Xelion entered the UK market and Dave Reynolds joined as UK Managing Director.

The company is totally focused on the comms channel with a partner only policy, so there are never any conflicts of interest. The Xelion platform has an open architecture that puts the comms provider back in control, allowing them to build their own comprehensive comms proposition with the flexibility to set their own path and destiny, something no other hosted voice vendor is trying to achieve with the channel.

A major focus for the Xelion development team is the continued integration of Xelion with third-party applications such as Office 365, Power BI, popular CRM packages and many other applications. The vision is that Xelion should be the central hub in the corporate communications of the companies that use it, so it’s more than just a cloud telephony service.
