In a bid to remain the channel provider of choice for voice-centric business services NFON engaged PRD Technologies to deliver sophisticated billing technology as part of their enhanced reseller partner program.
Due to the increasing demand for VoIP and hosted cloud telephony systems, resulting from the growing trend in flexible and hybrid working, NFON seized the opportunity to optimise their product portfolio for partners.
NFON identified a gap in their partner portfolio – to provide cloud-based telephony billing and VoIP billing services on behalf of their customers, giving partners the ability to streamline the billing process and eliminating the need for them to work with a separate billing vendor.
Already a customer of PRD Technologies, with a major client in common, NFON approached the billing software vendor to develop a sophisticated, scalable, bureau billing solution for their reseller partner program.
The managed billing service also needed to be white-labelled, so invoices appear to come from NFON’s resellers and have multilingual and multi-currency billing capabilities for European expansion plans.
Thanks to PRD’s Intelligent Billing solution, NFON now offer full end-to-end services to their reseller partners, with a managed billing processing solution, reducing the time required to do this in-house and eliminating manual errors, giving their resellers a competitive edge.
Marie Ellis, Business Operations Manager at NFON commented, “Intelligent Billing can support all the products and services NFON offers our reseller partners, and PRD regularly review performance to keep pace with NFON’s changing requirements.”
The enhanced program enables NFON partners to maximise opportunities within the cloud telephony systems market, whilst the inbuilt insights within the white-label BoBO (Billing on Behalf Of) platform provide intuitive analytics to support resellers sales strategies.
Marie Ellis went on to say, “Processing billing data is so much easier, invoices are issued accurately and on time and we no longer need to get bogged-down in the complexities of billing. That system adaptability – along with how delighted we are with the quality of their service and support – means we are already discussing introducing Intelligent Billing to other regions such France, Italy and Austria.”
