Brother UK has appointed a full-time sustainable development coordinator to help end users reduce their environmental footprint. Gemmer Crozier, who joined Brother as an apprentice five years ago, will work with channel partners and their customers to highlight how Brother solutions and services can support a greener business and to raise awareness of Brother’s approach to sustainability.
In her new role, Crozier will also collaborate with the Brother recycling facility in Ruabon, Wales to encourage more Brother business customers to recycle Brother print cartridges. Gemmer said: “Sustainability is fast becoming a necessary requirement for our channel partners. We’ve supported some resellers on tenders where up to 40% of the total score was owed to responsible business practices. It will be incredibly rewarding to help organisations and individuals recycle more, reduce waste and become more energy efficient.”
